Don't Break the Bank With Fantasy Football

It's that time of year again:  FANTASY FOOTBALL.  For Americans, the only thing better than a Sunday full of games is a Sunday full of games where you can compete and beat your friends and then make money. That's right, fantasy football is first and foremost about competition and nothing stokes the fires of competition like when there's money on the line.

As you get older and meet more and more people, you'll find yourself in more and more leagues.  Your high school friends, your college friends, your work friends, those guys at the bar who keep calling you the wrong name...everyone wants you to be in your league.  And they are all for money.  And you don't want to disappoint anyone so you join all of them and it can get EXPENSIVE.

So, here are some tips to help you stay afloat this fantasy season.

1.  Earn your entry fee.  A lot of leagues, especially those whose teams come from all over the country, utilize PayPal for buy-in fees.  Conveniently, a lot of the sites I recommend send money right to YOUR PayPal.  I'm talking about NatureBucks, Superpoints, PaidViewPoint, and TopLine.  If you have any questions about how to maximize these sites, check my archive, I've got tutorials on all of them.  Utilize these sites to earn the money to enter your leagues and then turn it into big bucks by winning.

And how do you win?

2.  Start your research early.  It's tempting to wait until the day before the draft, but it's early August now and draft day is rapidly approaching.  Pick a position every day read up on it.  There are free resources all over the internet.  Google is your friend.  Just make sure that the people giving you advice are in the same type of league as you.  For example, PPR (points per reception) are quite common so if you are not in one of those leagues, the rankings you find maybe skewed.  Work on your sleeper list early and edit it as time goes by.  The draft is the most important part of the season so be prepared.

3.  Learn the tools of your league.  Familiarize yourself with the settings.  Are you getting points for receptions?  How do special teams work?  Make sure you know this so you can build your team accordingly.  And don't hesitate to make use of the projections, reports, and rankings that come with your league.  Most people don't realize that you can rank players by projected points per week or per season.  Use these rankings to help make tough choices, but always rely on your own instincts when making your decision.  Don't be a slave to numbers.  If you watch a lot of football and you know a player is good, go with that impression.

If you're in a lot of leagues, you'll want to use the tools of the web to make the money for your entry fees.  Otherwise, you'll find yourself really hurting at the beginning of the season and under a lot of pressure to win your leagues and make your money back.  And that's not fun.  Good  luck!

Superpoints Payment Proof PLUS Payment Tips

Here's the notification for my latest payment from Superpoints.  It cost me about 1300 points and, as you can see, it went straight to my PayPal.  I could have waited until I accumulated enough points for a larger cash out, but the exchange rate is basically the same.  Now I'm a patient man, but I rarely can turn down money now for money later if there is no clear advantage.

So, now that you see it's legit, I would advise you, as your humble guide to making not so easy money money on the internet, to:

And just so I have some have some company to spend my free ten bucks with, here are some tips to help make your cash out smoothly:

DO make sure the e-mail address you sign up for Superpoints matches the e-mail for your PayPal.  If it doesn't, I'd advise adding whatever address you used to your PayPal account (apparently you can have a bunch of addresses for one account).  You can also change the e-mail associated with Superpoints, but the system can get kind of buggy waiting for confirmation.

DON'T fill out fake information when you sign up for Superpoints.  They can use this fact to void your account and you won't get paid.

DO cash out as soon as possible in the week.  If you cash out after Sunday, you'll have to wait for the following week.

DON'T be impatient.  The terms of service state paydays are Mondays and Tuesdays.  So unless it's Wednesday morning, you have nothing to worry about.

Disregard Points, Acquire Money - CashCrate

That was not the first post title I had in mind, but I've been pretty good with profanity so far so I figured it I'd keep it up.  Anyway, I thought I'd give you folks some more GPT (Get Paid To) options in case you are overwhelmed by the whole "points" thing with SuperPoints or you need something more than NatureBucks.

That's real money you get right there.  For buyin' stuff.

May I present CashCrate, where you complete offers than translate directly into cash.  The upside is you don't need to convert points to cash and many offers you complete will be better paying that most GPT sites.  It also has a "Daily Check-in" feature where you earn 3 cents just for clicking a green button.

The downside is CashCrate doesn't have PayPal and the minimum cash-out is $20 by check, so you'll have to be patient to get paid.  My advice to sign up for all the sites you can and stick with whatever one or ones work best for you.  Just don't spread yourself too thin or you'll end up frustrated when you are too far from the minimum cash-out over a bunch of sites.

So try out CashCrate in addition to, or instead of, some of the other GPT sites and add to your already growing stable of money-making opportunities.  Later I'll be providing some more in-depth comparisons between these and other sites, but go ahead and sign up so you can compare for yourselves.  You'll thank me later.

Superpoints: The Quick and Easy Ten Buck Cashout

So you've signed up for Superpoints (Tutorial).  You've picked up a few points here and there from filling out your basic info, uploading a picture, clicking the Lucky Button a few times, and getting some Lucky emails.  But this isn't NatureBucks where the minimum cashout is 5 cents.  No, you need to amass a little chunk of points before you can get paid.
 Lucky for you, you've got me to tell you the best offers that you should complete right off the bat so you can start cashing out today.


The golden rule of the internet is not to give out personal information.  You don't want to get scammed.  But you can't live in fear.  Otherwise, you'd never be able to order form a site like Amazon.  Why do you feel safe giving out your credit card to Amazon?  Because they are a trusted company.  So if you're going to be completing any offers that require a credit card, make damn sure it's a trusted company.

That being the case, the following offers will be only from trusted companies.  You'll recognize them.  You should feel safe with them.  Your credit card won't be charged.  IMPORTANT: Just make sure that if you are signing up for a free month trial, you don't cancel it too soon (your points will get revoked) or too late (you'll get charged).  Of course there's always the chance that you'll like the following services so much you decided to keep them.

I'll group the first two together.  They're usually on the first or second page of offers which you can get to on the right over here.

The offers are more Netflix and Gamefly.  Together they'll net you a free 1800 points, more than enough to meet the $10 cashout.  Of course you can't get the free trial if you already have these services or you were a previous member.  Sorry.  The Netflix offer is usually on the first page, but the Gamefly offer may be a few pages in.

NatureBucks Payment Proof

If you're looking to add a few extra bucks to your budget, you don't want to wait.  You want your money now.  I hear ya.  With most of the sites I've been suggesting, you may not have the willpower to keep grinding away only to have to wait a month to get paid.  That's why I suggested NatureBucks.  If you need a refresher on how to get started, just scroll down or hit the link in the sidebar.

Only Do Legitimate Surveys - PaidViewPoint

There's a fair amount of money out there for people who are willing to answer surveys, but you want to make sure you're not wasting your time.  Before you spend your free time filling in bubbles and clicking on drop-down menus, make sure you're at a reputable site, like PaidViewPoint.  The only instance where you should waste your time with a site that hasn't been vouched for is if a Get Paid To (GPT) site (like NatureBucks) is paying you.  Otherwise, leave the bad surveys to made-up folks, like Helen from Montana. She can afford to waste her time with that imaginary $2,367 a month she's making.

Surveys are all over the internet and it doesn't take a genius to find and ignore the bad ones.  If a survey is bombarding you with so many pop-ups that you can barely answer any of the questions, get out.  Similarly, if a site puts up annoying barriers when you try to leave, you know you've made the right choice in trying to escape.

LET ME LEAVE ALREADY

Finally, if a "survey" is more interested in getting you to fill out MORE surveys and click on MORE links, then you know it's not legitimate.  $1000* Best Buy Gift cards have asterisks for a reason.  You're not going to get them, don't waste your time unless someone else is paying you to.

So how do you know PaidViewPoint is not a scam?  Beyond a handsome and talented blogger such as myself vouching for it, you can tell by the design.  No annoying pop-ups.  No redirects.  No outrageous offers for thousands of dollars.  Not raffles or points or lotteries.  Cash.  Right to your PayPal account.  Right in your bank account.

Unfortunately, you have to wait until you reach $25 before you can cash out.  That's why this is Not So Easy Money instead of Super Easy Money.  Surveys are sent right to your e-mail and pay anywhere from 50 cents to over a dollar.  You also take demographic surveys at 10 cents each that increase your TraitScore which makes it more likely that you'll get better paying surveys.  If you sign up and keep at it, you'll earn that $25 before you know it without getting scammed.  Every little bit helps.

Getting Paid Immediately - NatureBucks

Everyone has seen offers for free iPads or $1500 gifts card.  Most of us know these are obviously scams and the very select few who don't probably have already lost their money to someone from Nigeria a long time ago.  So if it's obvious to us, why do they even bother?  It's simple selection, really.  The scammers know they can only peddle their wares to the most gullible and such outrageous offers quickly weed out anyone with common sense.  So when you offer someone $1500 for free with the intent to cheat them, only the people most likely to be cheated will respond.

But we're not gullible, and we're not going to be cheated.  Again, we know how the world works and there is no such thing as super easy money, but, of course, there is some not so easy money.  Plus, you have me, who's spent that time checking out these sites and can tell you which ones actually pay, like: NatureBucks.  There, you can make anywhere from a few cents to a few dollars a day, sent right to your PayPal immediately with no hassle.  It doesn't seem like much, but it can add up.  Take a look at this screenshot and you'll agree, no scammer would ever bother offering amounts like this:

Real people, cashing out realistic amounts of money.  Gullible folks will not be pounding down the doors to get at 99 cents when they constantly hear about Helen from Montana making thousands, but for a real person who needs a couple extra bucks in their PayPal, it's definitely worth it.  And of course, once the money's in PayPal it can go straight to your bank account.

So sign up for NatureBucks, check out the tutorials, and you can start making money in minutes.  I stop by daily to add some spare change to my PayPal and believe me, it adds up.  I also have a separate e-mail address for doing NatureBucks offers so I don't get any ads in my real e-mail.  There's no downside.

Passive Income - Topline

So you're looking for some extra money.  You see Helen from Montana and her goddamn $2,357 a month and you say, "Why can't that be me?"  Well, it can't be you.  Sorry.  This is the real world.  But right now you are making $0 extra a month and you have to start somewhere.

Passive income is where to start.  Getting paid to do nothing.  Sound too good to be true?  Well, it is and isn't.  With TopLine, you most certainly get paid and you don't have to do anything.  The downside is, it's only about $5 a month.  When compared to Helen and her $2,357 or whatever, it seems like chump change.  Well, in reality, Helen doesn't exist so she's making $0 and you've beaten her by $5.

Everybody could use a few extra bucks.  Of course, this is true of scammers as well.  You may want a little easy money, but they try to make easy money for a living.  And there's nothing easier than taking money from a sucker.

Don't be a sucker.  If you want easy money, you're probably going to get scammed.  Oh, Helen from Montana made $2,357 working from home last month?  Bullshit.

The reason Helen looks so shocked is that she just found out she doesn't exist.

You, however, can make a couple hundred dollars from home this month.  In your spare time.  If you put a little work into it.  Don't let scammers discourage you.  There's money to be made on the web and it's accessible to everyone.  Just don't confuse "making money" with "making a living."  A few extra bucks for a little bit of effort can make a difference.  I'll show you how.
